One week ago, Tommy had a mishap at preschool and hurt his foot. Turns out it's one or more hairline fractures in his foot/ankle area. We'll know more in a couple weeks when the cast comes off and he gets another X-ray. He is now sporting a cool purple walking cast. The first few days were rough, and he was in some pain. Now he is totally acclimated to his cast, and he hobbles, crawls, scoots and limps almost as fast as he could walk before the injury.

Foot Broken, Spirit Intact
Kids are resilient. It's probably been more traumatic for me and Anita than for Tommy. Get well soon, champ.

I'm so sorry for your son's pain. Hopefully it'll be his first and last broken bone.
One of the great things about young kids is how quickly they heal. I hope your little guy is feeling better.
