Outside the Horseshoe it ain't

It dawned on me that some readers of this blog may be interested to hear some of my work on Iowa Public Radio. Most of my job is management, so I haven't had the chance to do as much reporting as I like. But here is an episode of Talk @ 12, the mid-day talk show at IPR. I was a fill-in host for a couple shows when the regular host, the wonderful Katherine Perkins, was on vacation. While I hosted Outside the Horseshoe for a number of years back in Peoria, this was the first time I hosted a full-fledged, hour-long talk show with callers. It was fun, but I know the show is in better hands when Katherine is around.
